With its 4 factories, European Tobacco is an undisputed actor in the tobacco industry of the Middle-East and Central-Asia. To provide consumers with the highest quality products, European Tobacco has established modern industrial sites that comply with the strictest environmental protection standards. The newest European Tobacco factory is located in Turkey, in the world’s eighth largest market. It was inaugurated in October 2004. The factory is one of the world’s most modern cigarette production units.

Production
Most cigarettes are mass-produced by high speed industrial makers. European Tobacco has implemented quality control checks to ensure they meet predetermined specifications before being sent to the packing machines. The latest cigarette-making machines acquired by European Tobacco include their own quality control mechanism which actually checks each individual cigarette using electronic sensors. Conveyors then take the cigarettes to packing machines. The First-In, First-Out (FIFO) principle ensures that sales outlets always receive the freshest products.
